From Nabão banks, a few kilometers from its mouth (the junction with the River Zêzere), the city of Templars rise, located in the center of Portugal. After strolling through Parque Mouchão and breathing the fresh air of trees, crossing one of the city's bridges, we came across old mills, the well-preserved “Lagares d'El-Rei”, whitewashed. As we continue on, we come in the Jewish Quarter and then we arrive at República Square, where we can visit São João Baptista Church. From then on, a visit to Sete Montes National Forest and to Christ Convent, surrounded by the Castle, is a must-see for those who pass through the city, from where you can get excellent views of the city, below.
