Venice

From the calm waters of the lagoon to the sumptuous buildings that rise above it, Venice is a magnificent city, amidst bridges, lanes and great squares, adorned with details of the Baroque. Santa Lucia Railway Station is a good starting point for discovering the city, venturing into the neighborhood of Santa Croce. Without realizing it, Santa Croce mixes itself with San Polo, in the heart of the city. Then, after enjoying the views of Rialto Bridge and Grand Canal, you can go to Dorsoduro, where you can visit the imposing Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, or keep going to San Marco, where, after contemplating the gondolas that float through the narrow canals, you are invited by the beauty of St. Mark's Square to visit the Basilica, the Doges Palace and, perhaps, the Basilica of San Giorgio Maggiore, on an islet.
