Arrábida
One hour drive from Lisbon, in the Southern slope of the Setúbal Peninsula, there’s one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the country, which contains one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal: Portinho da Arrábida. From Cape Espicel to Setúbal, it includes beaches of clear water and vineyard landscapes in the middle of the mountain range. Some of the most beautiful beaches of this Atlantic coast are Ribeiro do Cavalo, Galapos and Figueirinha. Among the cliffs, we can still visit Santa Maria da Arrábida Convent, from the sixteenth century, and, maybe, interrupt the drive because of a beautiful fox… or snake!
